The dream of democracy is that everyone’s voice is important and
represented regardless of race, creed, or color.
Unfortunately, far too
many individuals and communities today are either not represented at
all, under-represented, or lack influence in the decision-making
processes that impact our lives.
PLAN is committed to helping under-served and marginalized
communities, particularly communities of color and non-English speaking
constituencies, exercise their right to vote so that their voices will
be heard.

PLAN is working with our coalition partners and other allies in Nevada to:
- Substantially increase voter registration and turn-out in low-income, immigrant, people of color, youth, and working class communities
- Focus outreach in historically low-turnout precincts
- Hold community meetings in neighborhood centers to register voters and hold education events on issues of concern to the neighborhoods
- Canvass door to door to distribute our issue guide, register voters, and recruit volunteers
