The Nevada Secretary of State's office has just posted new information on registering for Domestic Partnerships in Nevada.  Go to the Secretary of State's home page at:  http://sos.state.nv.us/licensing/securities/domesticpartnership.asp.

You should begin the process now if you want to make sure to have your registration on October 1, 2009. 

 As stated from the Secretary of State's website:

"Couples wishing to register as domestic partners under Nevada's new law may pre-file their declaration between August 24 and September 24, 2009 to receive their state certificate on October 1st 2009, the day the law becomes effective.

Couples may also file their completed domestic partnership forn in person on October 1st, but are not guaranteed to receive their certificate that day.  Processing times for declarations that are filed in person or by mail after October 1st may vary depending on the volume of forms received."
