What will it take for Nevada to allow ALL residents and visitors to marry?
05/19/2012 — In 2009 PLAN helped pass the nation’s strongest domestic partnership laws here in Nevada; even overruling then-Governor Jim Gibbon’s veto. But for many same sex couples, it’s still a second class designation. Britney Spears can drunkenly get married in Las Vegas at the spur of the moment, but loving couples in long term committed relationships are forced to deal with a separate and not so equal designation. So what will it take to make all couples equal in Nevada? The Reno Gazette Journal’s Ray Hagar talks to Nevadans including our technology director Joe Edson and executive director Bob Fulkerson.
